To commemorate the illustrious return of its magazine, PLAYBOY commissioned a truly stunning bunny suit. And who better to show it off than PLAYBOY Playmate of the Year Gillian Nation?
“I had never seen so many diamonds in my life,” Gillian told PLAYBOY. After I had the costume on, I felt like a princess. It was such an honor, and truly and unforgettable experience.”

“I wanted to create a great moment for Gillian, and a sparkling celebration of womanhood as a whole. Especially for PLAYBOY, where women are the stars,” designer Kali Hawk of H. Crowne told PLAYBOY. “That ultimately became my focus.”

In total, 1,884. This includes 200 emerald cut, 280 portrait cut, 1,220 round cut, 180 Asscher cut, and four pear-shaped, including a weighty center stone clocking in at 12.34 carats.

A whopping $10 million. It’s been dubbed “The Louisiana Purchase,” and was hand-delivered by train from Los Angeles to New Orleans in a nondescript black HULKEN bag.
